Okay so not really cryptic, but certain tongue in cheek…no? cheek on face then. Borders, like most physical set niche stores, has been seriously hurt by Amazon over the years. Let’s face it, Amazon was/is a great system: fewer employees, more storage and no need to actually stock odd items (links right thru to dealer). Stores need to do some serious businessing to keep up, and in troubled economies that just isn’t easy. Oh this just in: Borders is a book store! Well doesn’t affect me then, I can’t read.
