Nature continues to school us

Hate that your cell phone signal sucks? Of course you do, thats why im writing this. Wisconsin-Madison’s assistant electrical/computing engineering professor and all around nice guy Nader Behdad has started work on a method to stop your eyes from becoming red with anger. Apparently they are looking for answers in a fly, no they aren’t crazy. Nature has countless times beaten our greatest inventions in whatever design they work. For instance a honeybee can plot the quickest(and more importantly energy efficient) route thru any number of scattered locations faster than any super computer we even have conceptualized. Well in this fly nature has again shown us that there is a better way to track signals, which if im reading it correctly is direction. You can read thru after the link but frankly its more of a “Hey look what I’m doing” rather than a “I found something!”.
